Sabrina's story is very sad. This sweet and loving ten year old
cat was left outside to defend herself. Sabina is declawed with no way to protect herself
against the neighborhood cats. With no medical care, her left eye became badly damaged and infected, to the point that
when she was found, there was no hope to save the eye. She also has the worse case of ear mites,
which has damaged her hearing -- forever.

I'm Alexander & I am a young-at-heart kind of guy, lovely fawn colors over gray, and I just need a home
with special people who will care for me for the rest of my life... my earlier life was a
nightmare, and I can't bear to think about it anymore. Because of this past existence, I
am not able to share my human with other kitties... it's a long story..... One volunteer
calls me "Alexander the Great." I just long to own a human the way Alexander the Great owned
the world. Come and visit me, maybe fall in love.
Alexander has been
declawed neutered, tested negative for feline aids and leukemia, is microchipped, current on
vaccinations including the leukemia vaccination and has been treated for worms and fleas.

Our names are Abby, Ali and Andy! The humans call us the
Three Amigos. We were dumped out in the cold in a box, and left at a bus stop. How rude!! Thankfully we were found
by a caring individual and had the great fortune to find a wonderful foster mom. We are looking for homes of our own
so won't you please call and set up a date to meet us?

Hello! We are Chad & Corbin. We stuck together
like glue to stay warm in a nasty old car junkyard. I don't know why we were dumped there, we don't know how to drive, we aren't
old enough yet.
Please don't split us up, we want to stay together and don't we make great little matching bookends? Bet you can't tell us apart!
If you want to try, please call.
ADOPTED Hi! My name is Tessa. I'm a cheerful little lady despite what I've
gone through in my short life. I had a broken leg, and my people didn't care. As a result my leg started to heal on its own in the wrong
position.
One day an angel came before me, at least I think she must have been an angel. She said you are coming with me now.
Next thing I knew I was waking up in the hospital. They told me they put pins in my leg to get it to heal in the right position. I
guess so far so good, they took the pins out already! I'm waiting in a foster home now. My foster mom says she's gonna be real
picky about who gets me. If you are real picky too, maybe you can be my new parents. Thank you.

Please don't look away. Yes, I've only got three legs but I'm still a cat. And I still love humans even though
the last people who called themselves my caretakers, thought I should just stay under a bush and die. I still
love life. I am generous with my affection and purrs. I enjoy being invited to sit on your lap or on your chest while you sleep.
Please be kind to me and love me forever, and I will do the same. I promise. Please come see me at 980 Commercial St. or call Jeanie.
Thank you, Saint Luke.

Hi, my name is Triton. Do you have a minute so I can tell you my story? I somehow got lost because I couldn't see,
I was not feeling well and my eyes started to hurt and water and then get full of gook.
I was very hungry and very thristy too.
I didn't know where I was so
I just sat against the curb. I didn't know I was sitting in the road until some wonderful angel stopped and scooped me up.
I am now feeling a little better, but they say I might not see again, or see very well. So I hope someone will love me
anyway and keep me inside from now on. Do you want to give me a chance? Thank you, Triton.
UPDATE:
Look at me now! I'm chillin' in my new home,
bet you don't recognize me, neither do I! I also have a new name - Rocky!

Please love us forever
We were dumped along the side of Doaks Ferry Road along with our siblings. We are alive today thanks to a very caring couple who
took the time to catch us and bring us to SFOF. We were all anemic and flea covered
and struggling for life. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our loving foster families,
7 of the 9 of us survived. 5 of us have been placed into new loving homes and now only two of us little
black kittens are available. Wouldn't you like a pair of matching "bookends"?
ADOPTED I don't know why they call me Popeye, because I don't like spinach - yuk! Well, life at the shelter is OK and I
guess if you have to be at a shelter well this one is a good one to be at especially for a black kitty. Did you
know that no one looks at us black kitties?
I thought we were very elegant looking and mysterious. For sure we
have extra personality. I wish I lived in England because I read on the internet that over there, and in most
countries, us black kitties are considered good luck. Here, people have this crazy idea about us being bad luck.
I don't know why. I think I'm a good luck charm. After all I must have had good luck to wind up here at a no-kill
shelter where the color of my fur didn't determine my time here on earth. Still, as nice as it is here, I sure
would love a home of my very own. I'm just a few months old, and growing up a kitten in a shelter is sort of
lonely. I wish I had some kids who would play with me and toss catnipmice to me, or let me chase a string...
sigh... I'm still waiting here for that day to happen. Please come visit me at 980 Commercial Street SE.
Thank you for coming to see me, and adopting me!
